we have already shared with you tips that help to save time through good preparation when cooking. Because being well prepared is often half the battle. The tips in a nutshell: Stock up on food already that has a long shelf life and will save you another trip to the supermarket. Collect recipes so you don’t have to go searching before cooking. And keep your dishes simple – it doesn’t always have to be an elaborate three-course meal.

Today we focus on saving time while cooking and have three great tips for you again:How to save time when cooking (part 2)

  • Keep order: With order in the kitchen, you can gain a lot of time even while cooking. Only leave kitchen appliances on the kitchen surface that you actually use. Here you could also ask yourself whether owning one or the other device is really necessary.
Keep similar foods together so you know exactly where to find what. Maybe it will also help you – for example with spices – if you label certain foods.
Washes used equipment or other kitchen utensils while they are still cooking, such as when pasta is boiling, vegetables are cooking, or a batter is rising.
  • Make it easy on yourself: Make it easy on yourself during the cooking process, too, for example, by not peeling certain vegetables where the skins are edible. You can also always go back to canned goods. Canned tomatoes and pickled chickpeas are quick to open and ready to use. You can save yourself a lot of time by cooking in advance.
  • For 2x cooking: Prepare a double portion right away It’s not a lot of extra work during cooking, but it will save you an incredible amount of time the next day. Because instead of getting back in the kitchen and cooking, you can either heat up the dish at home, or take it to work, university, or anywhere else. Freezing would also be an option. And if there is absolutely no time for cooking, you can save it by simply defrosting or heating the dish.

Maybe one or the other tip is helpful for you and you can take it with you and implement it.
