Lactic acid bacteria as intestinal care

Even before modern medicine confirms it today, people found out many years ago that healthy intestinal flora is the basis for consistent good health. Lactic acid bacteria help us to maintain a good intestinal flora. A wide variety of fermentation techniques are used to process grains. Thus, acidified variations of wheat, oats, barley and other cereals, together with milk or honey, help good digestion.

If one is prescribed an antibiotic, all bacteria in the intestine are killed, not only the “bad” ones, but also the “good” ones. To restore balance, lactic acid bacteria are very beneficial and are often prescribed.

In summary, good intestinal care can be obtained by eating whole grain bread made from sourdough or yeast and whole cereal grains, which contain a lot of fiber, vitamins and minerals.
