And as so often we have a recipe with a fruit of the season for you again today: a juicy crumble cake with plums! Mmmh… how that probably tastes!?
ingredients
For the dough:
- 250 g of wholemeal flour (with your
Salzburg grain mill
you always have freshly ground flour ready) - 1 package baking powder
- 120 g raw cane sugar
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
- 120 g margarine
- 200 g soy drink
- 1 package vanilla pudding powder
For the crumble:
- 100 g wholemeal flour
- 30 g freshly flaked oat flakes (Do you know already
our new flake master
?) - 50 g raw cane sugar
- 70 g margarine
- optional: cinnamon
For the topping:
- 500 g plums
preparation
First of all, wash, pit and slice the plums. Prepare a baking tray or a baking pan about 20×30 cm and grease it with a little margarine or oil. Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.
For the crumble, melt the margarine. Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl and work in the margarine. You can use a fork for this or simply “crumble” the mass by hand. You can put the crumble aside in the meantime.
For the dough again melt margarine. In a bowl, mix the soy drink with the vanilla pudding powder and slowly stir in the melted margarine. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients, i.e. the flour, the baking powder, the raw cane sugar and the vanilla sugar.
Now add the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients and mix until smooth. Put this into the baking tray/mold and top with the plums. Then take the sprinkles and spread them on the dough with the plums.
The moist crumble cake is baked in the oven for about 30 minutes.
Let your plum crumble cake cool well and enjoy it together with family or friends (:
