A wise professor’s advice saves a child

Very touching, handwritten letter to the Salzburg grain mills:
Thank you for 40 years of milling – The advice of a wise professor saves a child

Hello Mrs. Thurner!

Here is my son’s story. Andreas fell seriously ill at the age of 8. He couldn’t process food properly, some of it remained in his intestines and poisoned his body when he didn’t have a bowel movement. At the clinic, they finally wanted to remove the bowel – the first operation for a child and the second for an adult. So I asked an older professor what he would do if it was his child or grandson. He showed me Andreas’ hands and the soles of his feet and said: “He’s going to be a big person, he needs the bowel.” He wouldn’t do it. So I went to the doctors and said I wouldn’t have my child operated on. You can imagine what I was told. We changed our diet to whole foods, bought a grinder and brought our child home. It wasn’t an easy time, but the professor’s suggestion to switch to whole foods was brilliant! Today Andreas is 48 years old and 1.92 m tall. This grinder was a Thurner grinder and it has now been running for 40 years!!! Now it’s being serviced and we’re looking forward to getting it back.

Thanks to the company and its employees!

With loving thoughts
