Energy balls – a great snack without bad conscience

Everybody knows that moment when you feel like having a sweet snack. And that in most sweets huge amounts of table sugar can be found, is well known to everyone too. What if there was an alternative to nibble without a bad conscience?

This is what you need for the energy balls

  • 100 g of freshly rolled oats
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 4 tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • 8 tablespoons of soy drink
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons dates

 

The simple preparation

First you mix all the ingredients except for the dates. Then you cut the dates into small pieces. Add the dates to the remaining ingredients and knead the dough thoroughly. It should be a solid, homogeneous mass.

Now always take a small part of the mass and form balls. From the given amount you can form about 20 balls. If you want, you can also roll your energy balls in cocoa powder or sesame seeds.

To keep the energy balls longer fresh, you can keep them in a container in the refrigerator.

You will see that your energy balls also taste very sweet without adding any table sugar!
